Shepparton and Goulburn Valley
The region of Shepparton and Goulburn Valley is one of unique character and story, driven by the largest First Nations community in Victoria outside of Melbourne, and waves of migration linked to a strong agricultural industry.
In partnership with Greater Shepparton City Council and local industry, and in close consultation with the community, we identified and expressed the essence of this story as a place of ‘kaleidescopic connections’ - one where over 50 languages are spoken and cultures are celebrated. This comes to fruition through a new, more inclusive name - Shepparton and Goulburn Valley - as well as a distinctive colour palette, and imagery and illustration featuring moments of unique experience and connection; all inspired by the festivities, traditions and colours of the cuisine, crafts and dress of the region's diverse communities.
