Very Special Kids

Following our work developing the Very Special Kids brand foundations, we were asked to translate these into a refreshed brand identity for the organisation. The Very Special Kids logo is known and loved, so we updated the colour palette to improve contrast and accessibility, and provided a basis for a bright and flexibile identity, appropriate for more serious through to more joyful communications. Combined with ‘day-in-the-life’ style, authentic imagery of very special kids, and their families, and a suite of line illustrations and iconography to communicate personality and diversity, the new identity feels both familiar and fresh, and highlights what Very Special Kids uniquely does - support children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, throughout their whole, and individual, journeys.
